Cynodon dactylon
Perennial warm-season, deep-rooted, sod-forming grass is considered by many people to be a pest, but is actually an important forage crop. When all other forages are withering from the dry summer heat, bermudagrass still performs. Definitely invasive, so make sure that this is really what you want before you plant it. 12"-18" tall with seedheads. Plant at 1/4 lb/1000 sq ft.
