We just got in some awesome spineless cactus pads. We have potted some up also for those that would like to grow their own.

These plants are grown from pads that are organic. They are almost completely without spines. Cactus pads are have an excellent calcium:phosphorous ratio and are well liked by most arid species of tortoise.

Each plant is 5-8" tall . They are shipped bare root to keep down shipping cost. Shipped to the USA only

We ship the cactus plant bare root. When you receive it, carefully unpack and place in a pot with sandy soil. Water and let dry out between watering. Keep inside in a sunny location and in the spring after the frosts are over, move outside to shade and then gradually to a sunny location.

Pillbugs are are isopods closely related to crabs and shrimp. They are naturally very high in calcium.

These are reared in clean conditions and fed high calcium greens etc. They are excellent food for any insect eating reptile or amphibian. I use them as a "first food" for hatchling box turtles.
